Sue Milligan - Lancashire based photographer
I have always had a love for photography especially after I had my two children, who are both young adults now! As many parents discover once their children grow up & become more independent, you suddenly have more time for yourself! Therefore I took the plunge & enrolled myself at Kendal College to study Level 2 BTEC in Photography, I loved every minute and it changed my whole outlook on how I viewed the world around me. I proudly passed with a distinction.
I work as a Teaching Assistant in a local school during the week which is a very rewarding career, many years of working with children of all ages from groups, one to one and special needs have given me a great understanding of children and enables me to create a good rapport with even the most reluctant models!
I am the proud owner of two amazing Labradors who are my biggest inspiration, which led me down the path for specialising in canine photography. Those who have met me, know the lengths I go to in order to capture the dog's unique personality! I am very honoured to be working alongside Wolfwood Dog Rescue at Lancaster, I regularly visit the kennels to photograph the new residents and if I could I would bring all these amazing dog's home with me x
There is no greater joy than capturing a special memory that will last forever & bring back happy memories from that time. I strive to create natural, relaxed shoots with locations chosen specially to meet the requirements of the subjects.
